Description

The Institute for Nuclear Theory (INT) is the Department of Energy’s national center for nuclear theory. The INT hosts approximately 500 visitors a year for scientific programs, as well as running its own research program into the fundamental structure of matter on earth and in stars.

Funders

U.S. Department of Energy, $14.469M for the period 2014-2019; Members of the INT also periodically receive grants from other sources, including the National Science Foundation and the Simons Foundation.
