Mission

The UW Institute for Science and Mathematics Education is designed to align and share university expertise and resources with K-12 teachers, administrators, and community members to create high-quality, systemic approaches to mathematics and science education for all students. The Institute provides two major services: (1) Forms an information hub, providing both the UW community and K- 12 community a central directory of programs and resources; and, inquiry-based mathematics and science education programs; and (2) nurtures effective partnerships among those who want to promote inquiry-based mathematics and science education programs.
