Center for Timber Innovation in the Built Environments

Description

The mission of the Center for Timber Innovation in the Built Environments is to expand understanding and adoption of timber, including mass timber, as a viable construction option in Washington State through teaching, research and advocacy. This Center will bring together individuals from across many disciplines – including foresters, architects, engineers, researchers, producers, and policy-makers – to educate the next generation of mass timber professionals and collectively expand the impact of timber research done at the UW.
