Description

The CCG provides expertise to collect, organize, and prepare collections of banked biological specimens. Partnering with the CCG allows access to experienced technicians, proven scientific protocols, and a full complement of standard laboratory equipment. We have the ability to process samples for on-going collection efforts, run small pilot projects for grant applications, and function as a collection site for national consortium studies. Our center regularly coordinates with research groups to provide DNA extraction and quantification, temporary sample storage, and preparation for genotyping and sequencing services for members of the UW community and to researchers worldwide.
