Description

The Northwest Metabolomics Research Center (NW-MRC) is a comprehensive metabolomics facility with extensive capabilities in mass spectrometry and NMR based metabolomics, including targeted, global and metabolic flux analysis. We also perform biostatistics and pathway analysis, as well as unknown metabolite identification as needed. And our Center is active in promoting and educating the wider scientific community about metabolomics. The NW-MRC focuses on the following areas:

  1. Development of cutting-edge research and assays in metabolite profiling using MS and NMR platforms as well as statistics and bioinformatics for applications related to human health and diseases.
  2. Comprehensive and reliable end-to-end metabolomics services including, but not limited to, global profiling, targeted metabolic analysis, identification of unknown metabolites, flux analysis, and biomarker discovery and translation to a broad set of regionally located researchers and beyond.
  3. Up-to-date metabolomics training and outreach to researchers across the northwest region, as well as additional collaborators and users across the US.
