Description
To advance new knowledge to improve nutrition, food systems, and population health. Provide technical assistance in the translation of research into public health policy and practice. Inform efforts to prevent and manage obesity and non-communicable diseases at the local and state level. Build partnerships and collaborations with local health jurisdictions, government agencies, practitioners, and communities. Address the socio-economic determinants of health.
