Description

The Kenya Research and Training Center’s mission is to bring University of Washington faculty, students and collaborating investigators together to support research on HIV, sexually transmitted infections and reproductive health that improves the lives and informs policy in Kenya and resource-limited settings across the globe.

We will do this by providing high quality mentoring, performing rigorous scientific research and strengthening collaborations in Kenya, where UW faculty have nurtured partnerships and established infrastructure over the last 30 years. This capacity will continue to be essential to conducting research and training efforts that improve health and well-being of adults and children throughout sub-Saharan Africa and other parts of the world.
