Description
The Cancer Vaccine Institute at the University of Washington Medicine in Seattle is a group of scientists, doctors, nurses, patients, and philanthropists creating a world where cancer is managed, treated, and ultimately prevented by vaccines. We’ve disrupted the traditional lab model by connecting the early discovery, translational research, and clinical trial phase work under one roof. This approach brings our groundbreaking cancer immunology research out of the lab and into the lives of cancer patients faster, more efficiently, and with greater success. We are developing vaccines to prevent, treat, and prevent the recurrence of some of the most common and deadly cancers including breast, colon, ovarian, prostate, bladder and lung.
