Description

The Core is comprised of three complementary components that provide the following services.

The Genomics Component provides:

  • access to genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics technologies
  • facilitation of microbiome analysis
  • consultation to ensure that the full potential of the aforementioned technologies is realized
  • facilitation of single cell RNA-Seq experiments
  • facilitation of spatial transcriptomics profiling experiments
  • isolation and QC of nucleic acids
  • targeted gene expression analysis
  • targeted genotyping
  • multiplex immunoassays using the Meso Scale Discovery platforms as well as ELISA
  • sample management
  • support for the preparation of grant proposals and manuscripts

The Bioinformatics & Biostatistics Component provides:

  • experimental design consultation
  • comprehensive state-of-the-art statistical and bioinformatics analysis for OMICs data (e.g. genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics,
  • proteomics, metabolomics) as well as non-OMICS data
  • assistance with data management and sharing
  • support for the preparation of grant proposals and manuscripts

The Microphysiological Systems Component provides:

  • consultation and access to 2D and 3D microphysiological system models that utilize human, canine, rodent and other mammalian cells to investigate toxicological responses for candidate xenobiotics
  • support for the preparation of grant proposals and manuscripts
