Description
The Core is comprised of three complementary components that provide the following services.
The Genomics Component provides:
- access to genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics technologies
- facilitation of microbiome analysis
- consultation to ensure that the full potential of the aforementioned technologies is realized
- facilitation of single cell RNA-Seq experiments
- facilitation of spatial transcriptomics profiling experiments
- isolation and QC of nucleic acids
- targeted gene expression analysis
- targeted genotyping
- multiplex immunoassays using the Meso Scale Discovery platforms as well as ELISA
- sample management
- support for the preparation of grant proposals and manuscripts
The Bioinformatics & Biostatistics Component provides:
- experimental design consultation
- comprehensive state-of-the-art statistical and bioinformatics analysis for OMICs data (e.g. genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics,
- proteomics, metabolomics) as well as non-OMICS data
- assistance with data management and sharing
- support for the preparation of grant proposals and manuscripts
The Microphysiological Systems Component provides:
- consultation and access to 2D and 3D microphysiological system models that utilize human, canine, rodent and other mammalian cells to investigate toxicological responses for candidate xenobiotics
- support for the preparation of grant proposals and manuscripts
