The FiberLab’s mission is to enable transformative science through easily deployed optical fiber sensing. Our lab has deployed optical fiber sensing solutions in cryospheric, offshore, urban, and borehole environments. We have diverse expertise including deploying submarine cables, working in remote environments, using optical multiplexing on lit telecommunications fibers, and using GPU-based edge computing.
