Ally Clonch, PhD student
Ally Clonch, a PhD student in the Department of Environmental and Occupation Health Sciences, wins Castner Award to study the mental health of women maritime workers. “Mental health affects the ability to make decisions and respond to high-stress environments…” Clonch says, “If you’re under duress, you’re going to have a harder time keeping yourself and your coworkers safe.”
